Press Release for Thank a Police Officer Day, September 16th

Saturday, September 16th is "Thank A Police Officer Day". This is a national event created in 2012 by the Whole Truth Project, and here on Delmarva we are working with local residents to "adopt" and recognize area agencies and LEO's. Operating behind the scenes is a planning group with over 200 volunteers, who for the third year are reaching out across the Peninsula to acknowledge more than 70 area police departments.

Volunteers are welcome to contact us through the Facebook page for Delmarva Supports Law Enforcement to learn more, and we encourage all citizens to show their support of our officers on September 16th. We appreciate your assistance in sharing this project and date as we acknowledge the men and women who serve and protect our towns, neighborhoods and communities.

Thank you for your time and please share.

Sincerely,
Delmarva Supports Law Enforcement

DSLEO was created to acknowledge local police officers and departments
across the Delmarva Peninsula(eastern shore areas of Maryland and
Virginia and the state of Delaware). We thank all who serve and protect.
