Manuel's Animated Christmas Lights Display in Elkton, Maryland

A former law enforcement officer puts thousands of hours into this free display with help from a few of the Cecil County Sheriff's Deputies. Located in Elkton, Maryland, this holiday light display runs from December 4th through Christmas night and is a great family event to visit. Thank you to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office for sharing!

A beautiful patriotic light show offers visitors a chance to tune their car radios into a station to hear the sounds of Christmas right in their vehicle. The website states that "During the 31 minute show, you will also enjoy a few songs which have videos displayed on our 12 foot movie screen." Here's a video clip from their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Christmaslightsinelkton/videos/1693427690870355/

About Delmarva Supports Law Enforcement

Saturday, September 19th was "Thank A Police Officer Day", observed across the country as a time to stop and thank all who serve in law enforcement. Here in the Delmarva area, we had a local event which included cards and visits to many of our nearby departments.

There were lots of good vibes, meeting and greeting, and new connections were made, but the most important goal was to tell them that they are appreciated. https://www.facebook.com/events/814401878673142/

At one point on facebook, posts about "Thank a Police Officer Day" numbered more than 16,000, up from just 1,000 mentions on Thursday. But it can't end here. We need to continue to acknowledge and support the men and women who serve and protect our communities. We invite you to join this effort.
