New Year Greetings for Police & Law Enforcement Officers

It's December 31st and another tumultuous year has drawn to a close. So much loss this year; across the nation, with attacks on our cops on the rise, violence towards officers at an all-time high, and so much anger and disrespect shown towards those who wear the badge on a daily basis. 2022 marked the second year in a row that our local area has suffered a devastating line of duty death, with the murder of Deputy Glenn Hilliard in June. It's been a difficult and challenging year for many, but we are determined and committed to not give up hope.

As long as the brave men and women of law enforcement continue to go out each day....we will stand by you and keep you in our prayers.

We hope that in the coming year, wisdom and understanding comes to those in positions of leadership, elected officials, and public servants. We pray for minds to be opened, and that our communities find ways to come together in unity, while learning respect and kindness towards each other. May 2023 be a year of change and growth, that we as people - citizens, police, residents, leaders - stay humble and seek out better choices to bring harmony to our neighborhoods.

Thank you to all of our officers and first responders out there tonight as we leave 2022 and move forward into a new year. Stay safe and thank you for all you do.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful year ahead, filled with joy, good health, and peace. Happy New Year!
