June 19th, 2020 is the National Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement
The National Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement Officers has been observed annually on the third Friday in June since 2011. This year it will be held on June 19th. We encourage everyone to join in honoring and praying for the safety of our police, and will be adding local events for our area as they are announced.

December 9th, 2015:
Officer Noah Leotta, an Olney native and University of Maryland graduate, remains in critical condition. Police say anyone wishing to send his thoughts and prayers to Leotta and his family can do so at fornoah@montgomerycountymd.gov. People can also mail letters of support to Leotta at the following address:
