Each April there is a week set aside to spotlight and acknowledge the people who are rarely seen out in front but which are so incredibly vital and essential to emergency services, police, fire and rescue. Public Safety Telcommunicators Week 2020 highlights not just those countless voices we hear over the telephones and radios during times of crisis and disaster, but also the lifeline they provide to those in time of emergency situations. The actions and guidance of these trained and professionals who excel in the field of communications and dispatch save lives, both of the public who call for help as well as the first responders who depend upon critical information and details being relayed.
