September 19th, 2015, on the heels of the first Thank A Police Officer Day on Delmarva, this page was created with the goal of recognizing those who protect and serve. Our mission was to bring local news, upcoming events and information, to a central site with a positive focus on law enforcement, along with promoting and gathering support for the annual observance of Thank a Police Officer Day.

It has never been "just a day" that we appreciate our law enforcement, because of course, we recognize them every single day. National "Thank A Police Officer Day", however, is a special occasion, one when we believe all LEO should know how much they are valued.

September 12th: it's National Police Woman Day! Today we honor the work carried out by female officers, sheriff's deputies, special agents, Probation & Parole Officers, and all other areas of law enforcement. Thank you for choosing to serve, protect and make a difference in the world!

It's a crazy time of the year for us here! While it goes without saying we support our cops 365 days a year, this date coming up is specifically designated for showing gratitude for what LEO do. Whether you choose to provide lunch or dinner to an agency, rally your neighborhood to deliver snacks and cards, or show appreciation in another thoughtful way, no effort is too small.
