A new year is upon us and once again, January 9th marks the annual observance of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

Good morning! Posting a reminder about tonight's event in Ocean City, Law Enforcement Appreciation Night, hosted by Maryland Concerns Of Police Survivors (Maryland C.O.P.S.). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the organization to help fund the work they do for survivor families.

It has never been "just a day" that we appreciate our law enforcement, because of course, we recognize them every single day. National "Thank A Police Officer Day", however, is a special occasion, one when we believe all LEO should know how much they are valued.

Of course, you would shrug off any compliments or mentions like this, perhaps smile or say "it's just the job", but we realize how many sacrifices are made.....
