June 29th, 2018 | the Day After the Capital Gazette Shooting
Last night I wanted to post something inspiring, meaningful or comforting, but I had nothing. The words swirling in my head weren't appropriate for Facebook, nor was it the time or the place to share my thoughts. So I added one word to this Maryland flag image and posted it, just to let all of you know that I was thinking of you, and logged out of Facebook for the night.

Law Enforcement Appreciation Event 9.17.16
Saturday, September 17th is "Thank A Police Officer Day", created in 2012 by the Whole Truth Project. Observed nationally, we are working here in our community to inform residents of the date and to encourage support for our local law enforcement officers. There is a public Facebook event for the Delmarva area offering information so that citizens may get involved and participate. Everyone is invited to join in acknowledging those who protect and serve our neighborhoods and towns.
