January 1st - it's here! We've arrived at a brand new time in our lives, and would like to wish each and every one of you and your loved ones a wonderful year ahead.

Almost Christmas: December 22nd

Good morning! It's been a little while since I've posted on here and I just realized I had not given an update recently; the other half broke both arms and a wrist so life has been a little more chaotic than normal. Recovery is progressing; two weeks down, six to go!

Correctional Officers Week 2023

Correctional Officers Week 2023: observed Sunday, May 7th through Saturday, May 13th. Although we honor and appreciate all who serve behind the locked gates, the second week of May is a time specifically dedicated to thank correctional officers throughout the nation.

Remembering Corporal Keith Heacook

Two years ago this week time stood still as the devastating news from the town of Delmar spread across our corner of the world. People were checking in on one another and we were struggling to stay calm, as our first responders were being asked so many questions to which they had no answers. We cried, we prayed, and later that day, we gathered together in Delmar for a vigil I will never forget.

April 25th, 2023: Two Years Later
