Each year, on September 12th, we recognize the the women of law enforcement for National Police Woman's Day.  It is a time to acknowledge the hardworking and dedicated female officers, K9 handkers, deputies, special forces and all branches of police agencies who do so much for our communities.

“Thank A Police Officer Day on Delmarva” FAQ & Info

What is this upcoming date all about? "Thank A Police Officer Day" is a nationally observed occasion, created to show appreciation to law enforcement on the 3rd Saturday in September. Established in 2012 by the Whole Truth Project, this is the fifth year our volunteers will be visiting and thanking agencies across the Delmarva Peninsula. We invite area residents, community organizations and local businesses to join us and help us turn Delmarva Blue!
