Today in Delmar, at a ceremony held in Camelot Hall at St. Stephens Church, two new officers joined a department and a community.

After I wrote some thoughts about Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 10th (included below), I realized we this could be the beginning of a new attitude and mindset. We must make it a priority to stand with our cops every day.

LEO Page Admin Seeks Community Connections

At the beginning of this year I asked folks what they'd like to see on the Facebook page, and several replied they'd be interested in seeing more focus and attention on law enforcement and departments here on Delmarva. I think that's an excellent idea, and exactly what I've been wanting to do, which is highlight local agencies from time to time.

Keep The Love Alive; Together We Stand

So yesterday, January 9th..... it was like a blue glow just lit up the world. Every. Single. Place. You looked.....there were pictures and smiles, people going out to spread kindness and love for our law enforcement. It was like being in the middle of a fabulous day - like a wonderful Christmas, for example, and not wanting it to end.
